Latest wildlife spottings

Wildlife spotters have been on the lookout the past few weeks and seen an Essex Skipper, Burnet butterflies and we've even had our first sighting of the Cinnabar Moth Caterpillar.

Local artists' slate on sale in the Discovery Centre

We are always keen to have a selection of local crafts on sale in the shop. This month we have slate expertly cut by Rowan Bartram, a selection of coasters, place mats and mirrors, lovely presents for birthdays or special occasions.

The best three posters will receive a Discovery Centre Day-out Voucher to do a holiday family workshop and visit the Secret Hills Exhibition where our woolly mammoth lives.
